This just popped into my head and figured if the wife liked it so would other Volvo owners:

You know you're a Volvo owner when...you call that box in the back of the car with oil, anti-freeze, brake fluid and tools..."car toiletries."

That's a good one--especially since I have a box just like that in each of our 245s. So, I guess that faint oily, metallic smell that emanates from that box (the one my wife hates) is the car cologne?

YES! My wife agrees, Steve. We have wagons so it's a little bit worse, but hey, we'll run these things til they die or we die.

LOL, that is really funny because I have a box in my 244 with antifreeze, ATF, oil and tools. I even have a box of latex gloves just incase its gets to be a dirty job.
