Thanks for your help with my LT1 air box dilemma. As it turns out the LT1 Camero/Firebird motor used an ~8"x10" panel air filter in '96. The stock Volvo NA 700/900 & V-6 air box uses an ~8"x11" filter. Perfect for me. (By the way, the "ram air" version of the '96 LT1 used a filter that was ~9"x23"!!!)

I have now successfully modified my 4cylinder air box for 3.5” diameter inlets and exits to match up with the LT1 motor.
