AOD Swap

My overdrive is slipping on my AOD. I need to get the tranny out to have it rebuilt. Unfortunately, I didn't build the car, so I don't know how easy or difficult this will be. I have major projects like clutches, and transmissions on FWD cars cars, but this will be the first major project on this one. Will a Mustang service manual get me close enough? Anyone have any hints or words of wisdom?
