I just put on a set of the 16 x7.5 Borbet Type E wheels with Kumho ECSTA SPT tires in 225/50/15. The tires were $70 each, and I have had OK luck with the Kumhos on a previous car. I have an 88 760 Wagon with Stock springs, Koni Adjustables, and IPD swaybars. I only have about 100 miles on the setup right now, but they don't rub except possibly at full lock a little bit. When I placed the order at Tire Rack they weren't sure they would fit, however, they said I could return the tires if I hadn't driven on them. In other words, check all of the clearances as best you can to check for obvious rubbing before driving on them.
