98 V70 Tie Rods V70-XC70 1998

I was doing the front pads on my wife's 98 V70 yesterday and when I got to the passenger side (and forgive any incorrect terms, I'm still learning) I noticed the bar that connects the lower tie rod to the strut was broken. 1) how Serious is this? and 2) what is that part called so I can order a replacement. The job didn't look too bad to do and figured if I knew what to ask for I could replace it for her some weekend.

Thanks

Brian

Ah...I think you may be right about that...definitely fcpgroton! They may even have a diagram of the parts so you don't have to guess.
