More Turbo in 98 V70 XC?

IPD sells perf. ECUs for those BUT no matter what you do, it'll never be as fast as a 2WD turbo because the added AWD sucks up ALOT of power. We have customers with modded '98, '99 V70 AWD R's and although the customers think they're fast, to me they're not.

IMHO, unless you really NEED AWD, get a FWD turbo car instead. They're also less problematic as Volvos early AWD system can get very costly when things start failing, often around 150K miles or so.
