window sticking 850

The passenger side window on my '97 850 sedan is sticking and binding a bit when I try to roll it down. It will go down, but does so slowly. The rubber seal on the outside also seems to be getting caught and sliding down a bit with the window.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Dave

With the window rolled all of the way down, can you move the rubber seal towards the outside? Is it loose? A new rubber strip costs about $40 at the dealer and is easy to install. But you might want to invest time into spraying a window channel lubricant into the channel. Spray some vinyl conditioner on a paper towel and clean both sides of the rubber strip.

May have to take the door panel off to see what the hang up is.
