When I use my keyless remote all the doors lock, but when I unlock them only the driver's door and passenger rear door unlock. Is this a common problem. Is it in the door mechanisms??

    Try locking and unlocking the entire car with just the keys twice. I've read elsewhere that this resets everything on the fob to it's basic operating level. Maybe it will restore things for you.

    This problem is caused by someone trying to open the door while you are unlocking it. There is a plastic tab that breaks off. On volvospeed.com there is a labor intensive discussion of how to fix it. I opted for two new units from fcpgroton.com
    The cost was $95 each. You'll need to remove the door panels. I didn't find it that difficult, but if you are not handy, you'll need to have someone do it. I suspect the dealer would have charged $500 for the two doors.
