I think I remember reading here that the Camm rotation sensor is just used for startup. Once it gets going the output isn't monitored so it would only be suspect if it won't start. The early 850's can develope a problem venting the gas tank which can cause it to die. Try loosening the gas cap next time it happens. Check the Volvospeed web site "Bay 13" for PNP replacement info.
