I can't get my wheels off to rotate them...I feel dumb. 850 1994

So, I now drive my wife's old 850. The last time I had it in it needed new rims. The indy shop had a wreck with 4 great alloys. That was 20K ago and I went to rotate them. I got the lugs out but I couldn't get the front wheel off. Since I have never had alloys I didn'k know if there was some trick I didn't know or has the salt and snow of the current winter just created problems. Either way, how do I get them off without damaging anything. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

Loosen the lugs, but don't remove them. Drive at 5 mph and jam the brakes on. Use progressively higher speeds, within reason, if required. This should break them free. Clean the inner diameter and coat it with anti-sieze compound when you are done.

The only thing holding the wheel to the rotor is corrosion. One swift kick at the bottom or top of the wheel should be enough to break it loose. If that doesn't work, spray a little PB Blaster between the wheel and rotor, and then wait 30 minutes.
Once the wheel is off, use a wire brush to clean the rotors and wheels. Then spread a very light coating of brake grease on the rotor where it comes in contact with the wheel.
Remember, 82 ponds of torque on the lug nuts.

BTW, you should rotate the tires every time you change the oil.
