overfilled crankcase V70-XC70

What happens is the oil foams up and the crankcase no longer gets cooled properly. This can cause your engine to die, as in death.

No, it does not get sucked up into the intake :)

Just carefully undo the drain plug, with catch pan underneath, let some oil out and put the plug back in. There is no "pressure" to push the plug out. Do not let the crush washer fall off.

Next time, check the level after adding one "jug".
