Rear window defroster elements damaged. Can this be repaired?

I was removing a parking sticker from the tailgate window of my XC90. As I peeled the sticker off, part of three of the horizontal window defroster elements were damaged, so that now the bootome three "lines" do not defrost. Is there a "do-it-yourself" repair for these?

Yes, go to an autoparts store. They have kits to repair the lines. It is an easy procedure. Clean the window first!
