Hi all,
Once in a while my ABS engages without any specific reason (dry road , slow speed). Occasionally ABS and Track lights goes on, after a while turns off. ABS module has been already replaced 5 years ago. Anybody knows what might be wrong. I have generic OBD reader, but I do not have the one to read Track and ABS codes.
Thank you very much for your advice and help.

    Mine (850 1996) does that as well sometimes and under the same conditions.

    The pedal depresses slightly and you hear a series of whirring/mild crunching noises. In my case I have been told it is the ABS doing a self check.

    I have had to use the ABS a couple of times and it still works fine.

    It is a shame Victor didn't fix your ABS module instead. The typical ABS module is good for 5 years, Victor fixes his for life.
