Maybe this will help next person looking for convertable C70 rear shock upper mounts. Remove lower back seat by pulling on front edge lt and rt side lift out seat. Backrest portion of seat has bolt on lt and rt side very bottom of back remove nuts pivot back rest portion up. Could not remove backrest portion of seat because I could not figure out how to release headrest. Anyway prop up backrest and midway up you will see a 10" hole with a sound deadening foam taped over it --directly under pop up rollbars-- remove foam. Working outboard of these holes remove 15mm nut -use Lisle tool 20400- bought at auto parts store. Hardest part of this job was finding the upper mounts Vadis said it was under armrest Haynes said it was under rear seat carpeting!
