Hi Everyone,
I have a 1999 S70GLT with 115,000 miles on it and i would like to replace the fuel filter. So far the car runs ok but i read at, 100k miles the fuel filter should be replaced.
I looked under the car and it looks like there is one on the bottom of the car and it looks like there is what looks like a fuel filter on the right side of the car close to where the rear passenger sits. Its protected by a bracket that is fairly strong looking. There is no bolts that i can see so i was wondering how to get the thing off. And the brackets have some bolts on it but i didnt know if i should take some of those off or not. I read on other websites that its above the rear axel but this on is not above the rear axel but just in front of it. You can find it by looking under the car without jacking it up. I found tape on both sides of the connector fitting areas. It was sealed up pretty good.
Well i was wondering how to get at the bolts or something to take it off? Anybody have some ideas?
Andrew
