Hi,
Here at the ranch every year about this time I have to set mouse traps in my wife`s XC70. Otherwise we get a serious varmint problem which leads to all kind of expensive repairs. Several years ago a mouse set up "house" in the exhaust system which led to a No start issue. Had it towed to the shop & after a few baffled mechanics ,they were prepared to put in a new cat but one guy decided to give it one last try. Lo & behold parts of a mouse nest blew out the exhaust . Lesson learned!!
