Thank you for the tips. Finding bad wires are the hardest part of maintenance and probably the easiest to fix.
With regard to the MAF sensor plug, Volvo suggests using a zip tie to hold the wires to the airbox so that the plug doesn't move with the engine and eliminate stress.
