So long as the rotors are the same thickness, there should not be a problem. The pads will position themselves correctly.
The caliper will move when you remove the clamp along the axle that holds the brake line. Just do not try to move it too far, and have a bent coathanger to hang the caliper so gravity does not have a chance to work on the line.
The brake shoe cables need to be loosened at the center console. Just lift up the trap door and turn the large cylinder counter clockwise.
