98' AM Radio is horrible... V70-XC70

We listen to a lot of talk radio in our car and the reception is just horrible for the AM stations.

Does anyone else suffer this problem, and if so is there a fix other than going to FM, CD, Tape or just plain turning it off?

First, pull the radio out a little and check the rear making sure the antenna is fully seated. Do not turn the radio off or unplug it, you want to hear if the reception is getting better or worse.

Next, check the rear side windows. Those copper wires are your antenna. If they are broken, there is a kit available at parts stores to mend the breaks.
