Disarm alarm system S80 1999

Another call for help
How do I disarm the alarm system.....
Its not the sound, its the lights that start flashing sometimes when I lock the car resulting in battery drain. Alarm not important to me
Ok guys look forward to your advice once again

There is a fuse for the alarm system, but I do not know what happens to the rest of the car if you pull it.

I think it is tied into the central locking system Perhaps you can confirm this from your sources

The Brickboard is my source.

If you have occasional problems with the alarm going off, I suggest first raising the hood and then closing it with a thud. Sometimes, the hood is not latched firmly enough to be in close contact with the security trigger.

Before you slam the hood shut, check the red LED on the dash board and see if it blinks every 5-7 seconds after you lock the car. A rapid blinking is an indicator that there is a fault.

You are lucky? Sounds like the alarm horn died...
