Oil pump 850 1997

While jacking up the car my mechanic positioned the jack head wrongly and

broke the oil pump resulting in leak. He replace it FOC but can anyone tell

me whether this will trigger malfunction on related/neighbouring parts.

    Please note error - It's actually the oil 'sump' and not oil 'pump'. My apologies for the error.
