rear brake locks up S70 2000

With a 14 year old car and an offspring driving it, you should seriously consider AAA.

The next problem could total the car if driven.

This problem could have done more damage than you think. How do the rear tires look?

One of our daughters used AAA twice.

1. Bad starter 300 miles from home

2. Dead alternator in Michigan, half way across the country.

This happened at night on a Saturday - The garage owner towed the car, let her call us from his garage (her cell was plugged in when car failed, phone was dead), He took her to a hotel.

On sunday, he towed the car and had his buddy open his electrical shop and this friend cut down some larger brushes to fit, as he had no Volvo brushes.

She was on her way by 10 o'clock Sunday, she was charged $30 for replacing the brushes
