850 Turbo - No Spark 850 1994

I've been trying to get this 850 going but so far no luck. Replaced the cam sensor and coil unit with used parts that are thought to be good. Codes indicate throttle sensor problem and this was replaced with a new one. Would a TPS cause a no spark situation? I also replaced the relay above on top of radiator with one taken from a running car. I did not change crank sensor but got a good ohm reading on it, according to a clip on You Tube.
I've just kinda been winging it and replacing pieces. What I wish I had was a step by step process to find ignition problems. Any help you have is appreciated.

Replacing the injector relay in the fan shroud will do nothing for spark. If the coil is good, then inspect the cap and rotor. A bad TPS will not do anything for you, spark and TPS do not communicate.

Which plug did you pull to check for spark? What did you ground it against? Is the gap at .028? Remember, the plug fires every other rotation, so it won't be real quick. The rotor tends to wear out...

Sorry for this late response to yours and others comments. Got side-tracked with my real job. I just pulled the high voltage wire from coil off of the dist. When I hold it close to ground, no - spark.

How did you establish that there's no spark at the coil?

If you haven't already, start with the basics. You need to find out if you're getting spark to the plugs. How are your ignition wires, cap, rotor and plugs? Have you tested any of them? Have you tested your used coil and CPS to see if they are getting proper voltage? It would be helpful if you can find out where the proper voltage stops.

What's the condition of your battery and starter. With my 95 855, I just went through the same sort of thing you are going through. It turned out to be my starter.

Are you getting fuel? Can you hear your fuel pump working? Have you tried swapping out the fuel pump relay below the fuse box? That is the main FPR. I believe the one above the radiator controls the injectors.

Finally, did you start your engine cold then immediatedly shut it off? If so, it could be lawn mower syndrome. BTDT that one too...:) If your car cranks, the cure for LMS is to hold the pedal to the floor and crank that puppy hard for a minute or two. That worked for me. It was then that I discovered that I needed a starter...

    Good luck,
    Jim

Thanks for your reply- I am getting fuel, and power to coil. My problem is I'm not getting high voltage spark out of the coil.
