No start, no fuel 850

WHAT!

Klaus, you only have a set of pin leads! This is the guy that is the highly regarded Oracle of Minnesota?

Go to Radio Shack and pick up a new set of leads - save them for resistance and other delicate measurements.

Cut the old leads in half and add a set of insulated male/female spade connectors.

Now fabricate some special lead ends, with alligator clips, spade connectors or whatever you think will be handy.

Make extension wires with spade connectors (as long as the car?)

Add a couple of more wires with various connectors, and you will have an inexpensive kit to keep in your car to trouble shoot, or run power or ground to most devices if something fails on the road.
,
Include some leads so that you can bring two females together with a fuse in the middle, so you can fuse a temporary power wire

I have used my kit to power a brake light switch, make a horn work, and run power to the unwired 850 seat in my 544 if I need to move it.

If you are worried about accuracy, you can zero ohms, you can check your leads against a good pair by measuring voltage across your battery, and all current in a curcuit HAS to go through your leads, like it or not.
