S80 SRS module

My daughter inherited a 2002 Volvo S80 with SRS code. CEM 1A52. Previous owner pulled the original SRS and a PN ending in 254 is in it. Previous owner is dead, so no help there. Volvo repair shop wantso $933 for new module and flashing or reasonable of the correct PN module installed. What PN fits YV1TS93DX22270262. ?

Actually, what you have installed is the correct part number. Same module was used for 2001-2003 S80s. The error message states that it cannot communicate to the CEM, so it might need to be updated via VADIS if the VIN is stored in the module.

I have heard others say it is just a straight swap. Have you tried unplugging the battery, unplugging the SRS module (check the pins of course) and plugging them back up again?
