S80 SRS module

Actually, what you have installed is the correct part number. Same module was used for 2001-2003 S80s. The error message states that it cannot communicate to the CEM, so it might need to be updated via VADIS if the VIN is stored in the module.

I have heard others say it is just a straight swap. Have you tried unplugging the battery, unplugging the SRS module (check the pins of course) and plugging them back up again?
