Cruise intermittent brake sensor module. V70-XC70 2007

Started out with the cruise just randomly dropping out with a brake sensor out of range. Finally got full yellow warning light. In short, that lil' ol' brake position sensor went kaput. New sensor in a few days, will follow up.

A bit late, but the new brake booster position sensor solved all the related issues.

My wife's '08 V70 has had a e-parking brake warning for some time (not working) and on a recent trip I discovered that the cruise no longer works. Must be related? When the weather clears I'll check the rear caliper e-parking brake situation but suspect it's another computer module that's taken a dump. Water intrusion from clogged sunroof drains can raise all kinds of problems.
