replacing struts 850 1993

I'm going to replace the struts on my 1993 850 and have read on this forum it would be a good idea to replace the strut mounts while everything is apart. I've looked at several web sights to get prices and have noticed they list a strut mount for $75-85 and a strut mount bushing for $20-23. What is the difference between the strut mount and the strut mount bushing? Do I need both? Thanks.

Here's what I think they mean.

The mount is essentially it is a big flat bearing. When you turn the tires the whole strut and spring assembly turns too. The mount is what allows the top of the assembly to turn inside of the strut tower. It's the part with the 3 bolts that stick through the top of the strut tower. The spring bushing is just the rubber spring seat and is what the top of the strut bolts to.

I would definitely replace the rubber spring seats (strut mount bushings)! The mounts.....I don't know. If you are replacing everything else in the front end then go ahead. Otherwise just do the bushings.
