replacing struts 850 1993

Here's what I think they mean.

The mount is essentially it is a big flat bearing. When you turn the tires the whole strut and spring assembly turns too. The mount is what allows the top of the assembly to turn inside of the strut tower. It's the part with the 3 bolts that stick through the top of the strut tower. The spring bushing is just the rubber spring seat and is what the top of the strut bolts to.

I would definitely replace the rubber spring seats (strut mount bushings)! The mounts.....I don't know. If you are replacing everything else in the front end then go ahead. Otherwise just do the bushings.
