Can somebody tell me where to locate the cabin filter so I can change it?

Is it something that can easily be changed or is it buried someplace in never, neverland?

CABIN FILTER V70-XC70 2000

The cabin filer is under the deck in front of the windshield, there are about six(6) screws and off comes the plastic deck. The cabin filter is on the passenger side. The new filter from Volvo is a carbon filter, much better than the one that came from the factory. At least for the 98’ model. I recommend you change it a soon as you can. The original filter was constructed with substandard material.

It's located on the passenger side under the black plastic cowling that surrounds the wipers. I think the manual states to remove the wipers and the whole cowling, but you can do it by just removing I think three screws and lifting up the passenger's side of the cowling and removing/replacing the filter. It's a tight squeeze, but it can be done.
