Hi,
just wondering if anyone has installed a subwoofer in their S40. My car has the premium speakers and sound system. I was just wondering if Volvo makes a subwoofer for the S40, and does it plug directly into the stereo? Prices?

Hello,

That is exactly what i was wondering wheni posted my wuestion which was to place a 6X9 on the rear where there is a space for two 6-inchers(of my v40) but i didn't get any ideas. I was thinking we can get the output of those wires and put it through a box with an amp and a 10" it would really bump!! but like i said, I got no good ideas as to how to exactly do it.

I don't think volvo has offered any subwoofers. This it is a do it yourself project.
