ok, i think i've tried everything to get rid of the squeals in my 93 rear brakes: new rotors, 3 different pads, use of anti-squeal gook, shims...what else? the car has 223k and the guy at NAPA thought maybe the "hardware" or the tensioning spring might need replacing? any ideas? i'm at a loss..thanks

i have had that too but i used the volvo silicone white grease this last time and no problems atleast so far, i really globed it on. I tried all the different materials they had in the IPD catalog and nothing worked, alwasys came back within a few weeks. good luck, if your wife is like mine, you'll be "hearing" about it till the cows come home or until its fixed! sometime it is just queals and not much do can do... even with new brakes and all the trick...

sometime is will go a way later... by itsefl.... let hope for the best..
