I tend to bend a bit more for fellow Volvo owners while driving. You know, give them the right of way and things like that.
Do you guys give "special treatment" to other Volvo owners on the road?

I try to be polite to everyone. I have only owned a Volvo since 2002 April 19, so I don't have much experience yet. I have suddenly noticed Volvo's on the road ;) I'm not sure yet, but Volvo owners do seem to be more sensible drivers, so I am starting to expect certain types of "good driving habits" from them.

I find myself giving and being more courtious towards fellow Volvo drivers. They usually drive sanely and seem to be more courtious themselves.

Now if you're driving a huge suv, rice boy car or anything else in an unsafe insane manner and expect me to cower out of the way into submission.... ummm.... well let me speed up a little into a position where you'll be boxed in and.... oh slow down maybe 10-20 mph while myself and the car I'm besides look back and laugh :)

Theres nothing more satisfying than doing that to a big Ford Expedition or little ricer Honda acting like he owns the road and flying at 95+ bullying everyone around.

*only done when it won't interfere with the flow of traffic... and once a few cars build up behing him game is over*

No. I try to be curteous to everyone unless someone cuts me off and I meet up with them down the road. Then I don't give them an inch.

The only people / vehicles I single out for special treatment are SUVs and BATs. The rest I treat with deference and courtesy.

i do the same. ....but...if it's an suv that tends to bully their way into traffic, i do not give an inch. he may be bigger, but my ride's sturdier.

I give the nod to Volvo drivers AND Saab drivers but show most respect for beaters with a "Lincoln Insurance" sticker.

Well, of course! Since they're obviously very nice, astute and brilliant people!

(Not like those @$$#0%& drivers with their BMWs....hey, no, wait, I'm probably going to buy a BMW next time!)
