Does anyone know where I can find the plastic face plate for my auto dual climate control. The dealer tells me this is not available as a separate part. I would have to purchase the whole electronic unit for about $600. My electronic unit is fine but I broke the plastic where the directional knob sits. I have tried scrap yards in my area but no one has and S or V 70's.

Have you called around to various salvage yards? Perhaps you might be able to find one that the yard will sell you because the autoclimate control unit was shot in the accident? Also, if you are not able to find one at the yard you contact, they can put that request out on the net, I believe.

Just a thought.

I think your dealer is mistaken. Checked with my parts dept. today. Auto climate control (or ECC) face plate is available. Part #9171639 for celcius, 9171640 for farenheit. They are pricey for what they are. List price $141-150 US.
