rear wiper quit working

The rear wiper on my wagon quit working a couple of weeks ago. This evening, I retrieved the Haynes manual and set about removing the interior panel. Despite being careful, I will now need a new set of interior panel clips.

I measured 13+ volts across two of the connector plug terminals with the wip switch on. Is the wiper motor the only piece left - ie needs replacement? I notice that the 13 volts are constant, even though the wiper is intermittent when it operates.

Anybody had any experience with this? I searched the archives, but did not find anything relevant.

TIA

Neil

Hey Neil,
You must be in Canada! 850AWD 5Spd only available in Canada, BC I think. You should have I think 3 or 4 wires going to the motor. One ground, one battery and one switch signal. Is the motor hot to touch? What about the ground?
