Lateral movement TSB for driver seat...still doing it!!!..Why? S70 2000

Hi everyone...Last October I took my 2000 S70 in for a TSB on an issue of lateral movement of the power drivers seat, they fixed it with a hydrilic thingy....This spring ,I took it in to the dealer again because it was still doing it...they said there will be SOME play on the seats...but it still feels not right?...Its driving me bananas....Can I take it into another dealer to take care of a TSB that another dealer never fixed...the car only has 21K miles on it?...Can i fix it or tighten up something?...Im going nuts!!!...any advice would be great..lance

There shouldn't be any reason to go to yet another dealer as if the seat shock was previously installed, the other dealer won't install yet another one because the "fix" via TSB was done.
As previously mentioned, one could also then replace the seat frame and/or tracs which will cure it for a while but eventually it too will get some movement again. All seats do have some movement noticed if you sit there and rock it.
I know, it's a newer car and still under warranty but one has to wonder just how annoying that really is? My '86 740 has had that problem since I bought it 8 yrs ago but I'm really only aware of it if I sit there and try rocking the seat. If I'm driving the car, I'm not aware of the seats movement at all.

Sure it can be fixed. My S70 T5SE had the same problem. Brought it to the dealer still under warranty a few times until dealer finally changed the seat frame. Had a similar problem with my previous 740. Drove me nuts until I bought this new car, only to experience the same problem again. Probably a common problem for Volvos. My guess is that something wears out because of friction (aluminum frame?)and will wear out again over time. Good luck!
