Heated steering wheel retro fit? Anybody tried it? 850

Or was there ever a heated wheel in the first place...? All I know is heated wheels and heated seats go hand in hand. :-)

Thanks.

I'm with you...a heated steering wheel would be just the ticket for these minnesota winters. If you come across an after market product please post it on this board. thanks

On a BMW 5-series. It was nice. Unfortunately you can't get it with the sport steering wheel, even on the BMW.

I'm unaware of a heated steering wheel for the 850-70. Real Vikings must wear gloves!

Well, I *am* going to get a real leather cover for it anyway (man does that plastic wheel suck rocks). I looked for aftermarket heating pads and came up empty. Apparently it just too bulky to be added after the fact.

Can anyone confirm if it was an option? I mean, rear heated seats were an option for pete's sake. A heated steering wheel doesn't seem that unlikely.
