oil on back of engine/Seattle area shops? S70 1998

HHmm first post didnt post.???
After a trip to the shop for check engine light (temp sender an thermostat replacement) they told me there was oil on the back of the engine. They wanted
to do a dye in the oil thing for $100.. I passed for the moment.
The question becomes... Aside from the oil pan screws.. what else commonly leaks
on these? In regard to the oil pan screws.. what is the fix? Retorque? New seal?
Pan warps? Any info appreciated.
Also any recommendations for a Volvo shop in the south Seattle area?
I have a 84 DL wagen an a 98 S-70. I can work on the 84 but I prefer to work
on my 74 bus (which keeps me busy enough! ;-)
