Greetings,
I need to replace some burt out lamps in the instrument cluster. I think I can get to them without too much of a problem. I want to know what replacment bulbs to use. Do I have to get them from Volvo, or can I go the the local autoparts store? How many, and what type of bubls do I need to replace the instrument lamps.
I also need to replace the lights below the shifter lever (auto trans.), and the bulbs in the seat heater switches. How do I remove the seat heater swithces?

    You can get the main bulbs from a local autoparts store. I got them at Autozone. The smaller bulbs for the warning lights may be a special order.

    I got the shifter lever bulb from the stealer...about $10!!! What a rip. I'm not sure if you can get them elsewhere.

    As for the switches, you may have to replace the entire switch although I've read some have taken apart the unit and soldered a new bulb.
