NOISE! 850

There is some vibration noises that sound like when a kick-stand on a bike is kicked up from what I believe is the brake area in the front. It rattles rapidly 4-8 times when I go over cracks in the road etc and is very annoying. I have aftermarket pads that might be loose, but wouldn't the rattle go away when I apply the brake while going over bumps in the road? The rattle is still there. Does this indicate something else is the problem or can the pads still rattle while apllying the brake?

Help!!!

Thanks

It is unlikely to be your brake pads and more likely to be the stabilizer bar end struts making the noise that you had mentioned. What is the mileage on the car?

They're more commonly called "stabilizer bar (or sway bar) end links," and I concur. It's a pretty common problem on these cars.
