SC-816 problem S70

Got an SC-816 that won't take CD's, when you put them in it sucks it in, makes some "searching" noises and then spits it right back out about 10 seconds later.

Tried the microswitch reset (just held it in for a few seconds and then let it go, tried it a couple times, am I doing it right?) but that didn't help.

Any Ideas?

Thanks,
Scott Silverman

      lets try again.....
I have learned that that unit is the biggest piece of crap in recent history.
I routinely smack the thing ( hard ) with the palm of my hand right above the CD slot. If that does not work, do it again!
      I AM NOT KIDDING!!!!!

Well, that technique works on everything else, why not the car stereo, I'll get back with my results.
