I recently installed a 3rd row seat in my 2000 v70. I now need to install the inside rear hatch release. I have the parts but I do not have the instructions. Does anyone have a better resource that the dealer for installation instructions for this hardware?

    Sorry colson, I don't mean to break your thread here.
    How did the install go? Any difficulty?
    I'll be ordering the 3rd seat in a couple weeks here. Considering doing the install myself.

    Apparently the seat doesn't come with complete instructions on how to install the hatch release? I'll have to follow this thread.

      Fred. The install was a breeze. It was actually enjoyable because it went in exactly as the instructions said. I got mine off ebay for around $450 with shipping. The dealer wanted $1400 installed. It took me about 4 hours. Again, if you follow the instructions exactly as written, you will have no problems. Email me if you have any questions.

        $450 on ebay?!!! Wow! Great deal. Maybe that's the route I should go, but I just have trouble with whom to trust on ebay. Most likely I'll be paying the msrp of $1000. Ouch.

          You should email rusty at rusty@rpusa.com. This is a volvo store somewhere in california. He has sold tons of these seats on ebay with 100% positive feedback.

            Wow. You know, I've seen this guy's ebay ads before. I wasn't too sure about him at first. But now, having seen all the positive feedback, and especially zero negatives, I think I'll have to place my order.

              I ordered my 3rd row seat from RPR in California last Friday. It arrived today (Tuesday). I paid their full $499, they wouldn't give it to me for the $450 that you got it for on ebay. But heck, it's still a lot cheaper than $1000+ from the dealership! Now, I just need to order the extra parts.
