'95 or '96 850? has data port-- 850

I just bought a used 850, runs great. it has a data port hidden under a coin holder on the console in front of the shift lever. The info plate and reg say 1995. Is it a fully funtional data port for use with a reader? The maneal mentions nothing. Thanks, Larry

    Yeah if you look on the underside of the hood near the passengerside hinge you should see a decal that says something like "OBD-II Compliant". The data port you see is a fully functioning OBD-II port. I use an Equus 3100 OBDII reader on mine and it works fine.

    Yeah, some had them back then...my (now sold) '94 also had them...but also the two boxes near the windshield washer fluid tank so I could read some of the codes and reset a bunch of stuff.
