A JUST BOUGHT 1994 850 TURBO AND ALONG WITH A FIEW OIL LEAKS, I NOTICED SMOKE COMING FROM THE OIL DIPSTIK WHEN THE ENGINE IS RUNNING. I READ THAT THERE IS NO FLAME TRAP ON TURBO ENGINES AND VACUUM LINES LOOK GOOD. WHERE SHOULD I START LOOKING????

    The rubber gaskets around the dipstick which holds the dipstick snuggly in the stick sleeve may be cracked or gone. There are two of these gaskets. Take a look. Mine were red in color. I went to autozone and found a box of similar sized gaskets and worked some new ones on in the place of the old ones. It was a bit trying as the fit is very very tight.
