113 fault code, short term fuel mixture too weak 850 1994

My '94 850 non-turbo wagon has a 113 fault code. Short term fuel mixture too weak. None of the manuals I have access to mention any details on what should be checked, adjusted, or replaced to correct this fault. I would appreciate any and all advice.

Hamfisted has the right idea. We had the same thing on our 94 850 Turbo, first it was the front O2 sensor then we found a cracked vacuum hose coming off the intercooler.

    Good Luck

My service manual says the 1-1-3 code is a problem with either a vacuum leak or the Heated O2 sensor is bad.

    1) Code 1-1-3 or 2-2-1 means that engine is running lean.
This may be caused by an air leak or an Heated O2 sensor fault. Code 2-3-1
or 5-1-2 means that engine is running rich. This may be caused by high
fuel pressure, leaking injector(s), faulty MAF signal or faulty HO2S
    sensor.

How old is the O2 sensor? You can get a new one at FCPGroton.com for about $100. They are expensive because it is a heated unit. If you don't hear or see a vacuum leak try replacing the O2 sensor.

    Good luck.

    Mike
