Used 850 purchase decision 850 1996

I have a chance to buy a 1996 850 Sedan, the original owner tells me it has 183K, Premium (limited?) edition, wood dash, turbo, etc.

Is $5000 a good price?? Should I take it and run??

Should I be worried about the miles??

I'd be a little concerned about the mileage if I wanted it as my drive every day car.

I paid twice that recently for a 1995 sedan, but it only had 38K miles on it. Everything works, paint and leather primo and it's just like a brand new car. Even smells new.

These cars can go a long long way. There are several at my local shop with over 300K. (850 engines) If it has been taken care of it should have quite a few more miles left in it. The price sounds high. I would say from looking at ebay that it is worth 3,500 dollars. At that price your investment is minimum and you chances of getting burned are less.
