Air Conditioning S70 1998

I'd like to add some freon to my AC system (it's not cooling very well), but I can't find any information on the web on how to do it. I purchased a 19 oz. can of freon with a pressure gauge built into the line.
Where is the low pressure line and its connection point mentioned in the directions on the freon can?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks
John

wal-mart, autozone sells a 10 or 12 oz can of freon that comes with a leak sealer for about $6, I believe made by Interdynamics Corp. This comes with instructions and you can't go wrong when there is only 1 port.

I wouldn't use a 19 oz can, is too much, better use 2 10 oz cans. The total ac system holds 1 lb 7 oz for a total of 23 oz. Thus when the system is low a 10oz can should bring the system back to fullif the leak is minor and sealed by the sealer. If you have a major leak then your system is empty and a 19 oz won't cure your problem since the freon will leak again.

there is only one port and is the low pressure port.

Is on the right(passenger) side, behind the headlight area, and has a cap that says 6nm.

Don't overcharge the system as this will cause problems, like being low on freon, 19 oz can is too much. Get a 10oz can that comes with oil and leak sealer in the same can, much better than a huge 19 oz can.

Hi,

Any special brand of freon/sealer that you can suggest or are they all the same?

TIA
