S70 Climate Control S70 1998

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it's possible to take out my current climate controls and put in a newer Electronic Climate Control (the one where you can set certain temperatures for the cabin). If it is possible, how much trouble are we lookin at at getting it in ? Any info is appreciated! Thanks.

Anything is possible, but when you consider the many sensors and the wiring that goes with them, you won't want to go there. For example, there are sensors behind the grab handles in the ceiling. I would also suspect that the ECM would need the appropriate software as well.

      hi,
yeah like the other guy said it can be done but you need the new control unit and all the other sensors that go with the ECC system. it would be cheaper to sell your car and buy a s70 with ECC as factory eqipment.

      steve.
