P0171 CODE V70-XC70

read where this may be caused by vac leaks on elbows. Any other areas that cause this code?

Thanks

P0171 CODE V70-XC70

I have a feeling you're in the same boat as I am - I am currently reading P0172, too rich of a mixture, from my s70. I have learned that this can be caused by:

1) Faulty O2 sensor
2) Failure to close the gas cap securely
3) Loose MAS/MAF connector (http://www.volvospeed.com/Repair/maf_secure.htm)
4) Leaks in the vacuum lines (http://www.volvospeed.com/Repair/vacuum_lines.htm)

Unfortunately, you have to get your hands on a code reader, reset and make your change between each attempt at repair.

Good luck!
