I JUST BOUGHT A 1993 850 GLT AND THE FRONT END LOOKS TO BE LOW. WHAT IS THE HIGHT SUPPOSED TO BE?

Note: When answering questions to the board, please answer every question but the one asked.

I have a 1993 850. The front clearances are:

To the bottom of the front air dam: 8"
To the bottom of the black bumper trim: 15.5"
To the top of the wheel well: 25.5"

My suspension is stock, with the exception of Bilstein HD struts.

Phantom

the car sits low but should be in level with the rear of the car. If the front end is dipping down then the springs should be be replaced. Or you have different tires in the front and rear. The car should have the same wheels and tires all around.

My 95 854T has always been low so that if I am not careful I rip the bottom plastic piece and have damaged the radiator from not clearing parking blocks. I had the lower piece painted once but it has needed it again fro a while. There are always times when I move too far forward in a parking space and damage it. I've had the damaged plastic piece held in place with bungee cords and a screw.

I don't notice the same on all 850's and I don't know why mine is like this. I do have the spec 205/50/16 tire size. I don't think you use that size tire on your 93 GLT.
